Why remain stuck in a rut with old behaviors when neurological research has proven "stuckness" is merely an illusion. We have the ability to rewire our brains to develop in any new direction and/or master anything new through thoughts, choice and actions. What you may not realize is there is no limit to your hidden and reachable potential. The key to a life filled with meaning, purpose and success is to learn to expand your consciousness, discipline your mind and then get inside the arena.

In fact, become the "control freak" of your mind and then watch the miracles unfold in front of you. Your brain will change and new patterns for mind and behavior will form. Instead of living with inner struggles, conflict and confusion you will experience balance, clarity and freedom. Finally, reality will be what you make it, not what you find yourself in.

Your life is not only meant to progress, it's meant to be awesome! It's truly exciting when you follow a vision that inspires you year after year. In fact, when you do, a dramatic shift occurs; your brain wakes up.  You have more energy than you ever knew you had and you become more alert, vibrant and creative. An ordinary life suddenly becomes amazing. When this occurs you'll look back and ask yourself, "What took me so long?"

"Don't ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."

If we know what to do, why do so few of us ever do what we know? Simply, we never decide to. Why do some people, against all odds, rise to super stardom? Simply, they decide to.

Once you take full advantage of the         powerful force of decision making, that exists inside of you, you'll no longer be enslaved by circumstances. When you decide what you'll accept in your life and the type of person you want to become, you'll be able to turn your life into the masterpiece it deserves to be

Your Greatest Self.

Some people go through a lifetime and never discover their greatest self. Infinite power and creativity is hidden inside every individual, yet often times it goes untouched and unnoticed. How does this happen? The common answers are self-doubt, fear of the unknown and lack of energy.

The best use of our infinite power and the greatest discovery of all, hands down, is when you develop the inner peace that you are enough within yourself and need no outside stimulation to make you happy.

This is easy, fun, and starts with one thing: setting goals. Most people think of goal-setting in the same light as New Year's resolutions; they're not likely to be achieved, so why bother? The fact is, goals are not a bother. They're indispensable and liberating. The pursuit of goals gives you pleasure and meaning.

When we have a destination in mind, we can focus our full attention on making the most of the journey. The value of the journey is what enhances enjoyment of the present. Being focused on a task, when it's aligned with our deepest interests, will lead us toward the fulfillment of our dreams.

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in a grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.  Theodore Roosevelt

Dear Joanne,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your story with the students of Mesa Verde High School. The message of attitude, healthy living and achieving happiness was extremely well received.

Paul Oropallo, Principal

"I have known Joanne for over 40 years. In that amount of time, we  have experienced many of life's best and worst moments including marriage, divorce, children, death, critical illness, etc. Throughout, Joanne has been a positive friend and role model in my life. She has a gift for understanding and empathsizing, and she has demonstrated, in her own life, strength and integrity."

Amy Stone -  Albuquerque, NM

"During a coaching session Joanne focused on the word, "compassion." It has really made an impact on my life. Compassion is a powerful noun. When we chose it, it not only positively affects us, but this outward focus creates a positive environment for everyone around us. Secondly, Joanne has helped me learn how to let go of other people's ideas of who I should be and how I should act. Finally, I've removed the definition I perceived others had created of who I was and found out, for myself, the real person that lives inside."

Jaclyn Workman

I was fortunate enough to have Joanne come into my life just over a year ago. I say "fortunate" because her friendship, coaching and passion for looking at the positive in life have changed me for the better. Rather than focusing on the negatives in life, Joanne ecourages me to set positive goals, take time to make sure I'm eating healthfully and exercising, and to step outside my comfort zone to build strong, positive friendships in my community. Since meeting Joanne I feel more connected to my goals and community than I ever have. It's an honor to have her in my life.
